The formats are as follows:
Symposium (SP)<\/strong> \u2013 A group of presentations focused on a specific thematic area. The symposiums
consist of five oral presentations and may be delivered in-person or online.
\u25cf Free Communications (CL)<\/strong> \u2013 Presentations of original empirical research or metaanalyses\/
literature reviews. These free communications may be presented in-person or online.
\u25cf Workshops<\/strong> \u2013 Educational sessions on a specific topic to be held either before or during the Conference.

Posters<\/strong> \u2013 Presentations of original empirical research or meta-analyses\/literature reviews during a poster session.

Awards<\/strong>
To recognize the merit of researchers presenting communications at the Conferences, awards have been established. This distinction, serving as an incentive for researchers, contributes to their dedication to research and enhances their curriculum vitae.

Two awards have been established:
\u25cf Meritorious Researcher Award:<\/strong> intended to honor researchers in general whose work stands
out at the conference.
\u25cf Young Meritorious Researcher Award:<\/strong> intended to honor young researchers who obtained
their master\u2019s degree less than two years ago, and whose work stands out at the conference.<\/h5>

To submit a free communication or a poster, you must complete and submit the form by April 6, 2025.

In this form, you must provide<\/strong>: (1) the authors, their respective affiliations, and contact details; (2) the author responsible for the presentation and their contact details; (3) the thematic area in which the work fits; and (4) the format you prefer for the communication (oral or poster).

The abstract for a free communication or poster must follow the structure below:
Title:<\/strong> Must contain no more than 12 words.

Body of the Text:<\/strong> Must contain a maximum of 1500 characters including spaces (approx. 200 <\/strong>words)<\/strong>, including:
\u25cf Introduction:<\/strong> State the main objectives of the study, including the theoretical framework, research questions, or the theory to be tested.
\u25cf Method:<\/strong> For quantitative studies, describe the design, participants, and instruments used; for qualitative studies, describe the design, participants, data collection, and data analysis methods (e.g., grounded theory or discourse analysis).
\u25cf Results:<\/strong> Provide a brief summary of the empirical results.
\u25cf Discussion:<\/strong> Present conclusions and\/or a discussion regarding the potential contribution of the study to Health Psychology.

You should not<\/strong> include a list of references at the end of your abstract.<\/h5>

To submit a symposium, the symposium coordinator must complete and submit the form by April 6, 2025<\/strong>.
In this form, you must provide: (1) the symposium coordinator, including their affiliation and contact details; (2) the moderator and their affiliation (optional); (3) the thematic area in which the symposium fits; and (4) the desired presentation format.

The symposium presentation should follow this structure:<\/h5>
Title:<\/strong> Must contain a maximum of 12 words.

Symposium Abstract:<\/strong> Must contain a maximum of 2000 characters including spaces <\/strong>(approximately 300 words)<\/strong>, and include:
\u25cf Objectives:<\/strong> Describe the main objectives you aim to achieve with the symposium.
\u25cf Relevance:<\/strong> Justify the relevance of the symposium in relation to the theme of the Conferences.
\u25cf Summary:<\/strong> Provide an overall description of the symposium, integrating the individual presentations and indicating their order of presentation.
\u25cf Abstracts of the Individual Presentations:<\/strong> The abstracts for the individual presentations that comprise the symposium must follow the submission guidelines for free communications.

ATTENTION<\/span>: Oral symposia will consist of 5 presentations (without a moderator) or 5 presentations (with a moderator). Workshops will take place in an in-person session either prior to or during the conference and must last two hours. Up to three presenters may lead the workshop.

To submit a text for the proceedings book, you must send it by May 30, 2025<\/strong>, to the following email: conferenciaspcs.ubi@gmail.com<\/a><\/strong>.

Each author may not submit more than two texts as the first author. The work submitted for publication must have exactly the same title and the same authors as the communication proposed for presentation at the conference. If the conference communication is rejected by the scientific committee, the work will not be published. The editors will reject texts that do not comply with the above rules or are deemed to lack the adequate scientific quality for publication. Only works in which the first author is registered for the
Conference will be published.

Format the document according to the following guidelines:<\/strong>
\u25cf The text must be no more than 10 pages, including the title, authors, abstract, text, and references.
\u25cf The paper format must be A4, with top and bottom margins of 2.5 cm and left and right margins of 3 cm.
\u25cf The font must be Times New Roman, size 12, justified, with a line spacing of 1 point and 12 points between paragraphs (space after the paragraph).
\u25cf Separate new headings with a blank line.
\u25cf The provided template already includes this formatting, as well as formatting for headings and subheadings, tables, figures, and qualitative data.
\u25cf Citations and references should be presented according to APA guidelines.
