Each first author may submit only two papers.

The formats are as follows:
Symposium (SP) – A group of presentations focused on a specific thematic area. The symposiums
consist of five oral presentations and may be delivered in-person or online.
● Free Communications (CL) – Presentations of original empirical research or metaanalyses/
literature reviews. These free communications may be presented in-person or online.
● Workshops – Educational sessions on a specific topic to be held either before or during the Conference.
Posters – Presentations of original empirical research or meta-analyses/literature reviews during a poster session.

Awards
To recognize the merit of researchers presenting communications at the Conferences, awards have been established. This distinction, serving as an incentive for researchers, contributes to their dedication to research and enhances their curriculum vitae.
Two awards have been established:
● Meritorious Researcher Award: intended to honor researchers in general whose work stands
out at the conference.
● Young Meritorious Researcher Award: intended to honor young researchers who obtained
their master’s degree less than two years ago, and whose work stands out at the conference.
SUBMISSION OF FREE COMMUNICATIONS AND POSTERS
To submit a free communication or a poster, you must complete and submit the form by April 6, 2025.
In this form, you must provide: (1) the authors, their respective affiliations, and contact details; (2) the author responsible for the presentation and their contact details; (3) the thematic area in which the work fits; and (4) the format you prefer for the communication (oral or poster).

The abstract for a free communication or poster must follow the structure below:
Title: Must contain no more than 12 words.
Body of the Text: Must contain a maximum of 1500 characters including spaces (approx. 200 words), including:
● Introduction: State the main objectives of the study, including the theoretical framework, research questions, or the theory to be tested.
● Method: For quantitative studies, describe the design, participants, and instruments used; for qualitative studies, describe the design, participants, data collection, and data analysis methods (e.g., grounded theory or discourse analysis).
● Results: Provide a brief summary of the empirical results.
● Discussion: Present conclusions and/or a discussion regarding the potential contribution of the study to Health Psychology.
You should not include a list of references at the end of your abstract.

Presentation: Duration: 10 minutes.

SUBMISSION OF SYMPOSIA
To submit a symposium, the symposium coordinator must complete and submit the form by April 6, 2025.
In this form, you must provide: (1) the symposium coordinator, including their affiliation and contact details; (2) the moderator and their affiliation (optional); (3) the thematic area in which the symposium fits; and (4) the desired presentation format.

The symposium presentation should follow this structure:
Title: Must contain a maximum of 12 words.
Symposium Abstract: Must contain a maximum of 2000 characters including spaces (approximately 300 words), and include:
● Objectives: Describe the main objectives you aim to achieve with the symposium.
● Relevance: Justify the relevance of the symposium in relation to the theme of the Conferences.
● Summary: Provide an overall description of the symposium, integrating the individual presentations and indicating their order of presentation.
● Abstracts of the Individual Presentations: The abstracts for the individual presentations that comprise the symposium must follow the submission guidelines for free communications.
ATTENTION: Oral symposia will consist of 5 presentations (without a moderator) or 5 presentations (with a moderator). It is the responsibility of the coordinator to collect and submit the individual presentations that comprise the symposium.
WORKSHOP SUBMISSION
To submit a workshop, you must complete and submit the form by April 6, 2025.
In this form, please provide: (1) The presenters responsible for the workshop, along with a brief CV and their contact details; (2) The thematic area in which the workshop falls. Submit Workshops here
